The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that line striping operations are scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) on Monday night, November 18, under a $107.2 million project to rehabilitate the Wayne Junction Viaduct over the SEPTA tracks and Nicetown neighborhood in Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, November 18, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, a right lane closure is planned on northbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) between Germantown Avenue and 16th Street.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
